Chef Cindy's Cafe is located just one mile from beautiful Lake Gregory, in the small town of Valley of Enchantment in Crestline. It's got that "small town" feeling and yet not far from anything you could ever desire. You'll feel like you are taking a trip back in time when you enter this gorgeous mountain community. Come in for a good home cooked meal by Chef Cindy, and while you're here, top off your delicious meal with a good ol' time malt, float, sundae or banana split.
On Fridays & Saturdays we have a special treat. Chef Cindy makes warm Scones and Ebilskivers. If you've never tried these, you are in for a treat. Our ebilskivers are covered with bananas and hot caramel or sweet cream and blackberry preserves. The scones are hot from the oven covered with sweet cream and berry preserves.
It is our pleasure to make your mealtime a pleasant experience. We serve great food at reasonable prices with good old fashioned hospitality.
We have a delicious breakfast & lunch menu, with a wide variety of fresh foods to choose from. We're open Tuesday - Saturday 6:30am to 2:00pm. Sunday Lunch - noon to 4:00pm. Closed on Mondays.
Our new Vegetarian Menu provides countless choices. We have some of the old favorites and we have several new "signature items' created by Chef Cindy. How about Homemade Veggie Noodle Soup (handmade noodles) or one of our most popular sandwiches - Sliced apple, provolone cheese, sweet red bell pepper and walnuts in a warm paninni grilled sandwich. And you need to try our Veggie Stack Sandwich. That's just a few of our new items.

The new favorite burger at Chef Cindy's. Grilled Angus Beef smothered in Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce, grilled jalapenos, crispy bacon & melty monterey pepper jack cheese. Then topped with crispy onion rings, lettuce and tomato on a buttery grilled bun. WOW... it's AMAZING!!
Have you tried our special "French Waffles" that are freshly made (with your bacon baked right inside) dipped in a rich french toast batter and grilled to a golden brown. Or our Chef's Breakfast Special ~ a warm golden waffle, covered with hot buttery syrup and a thin crispy piece of sausage that fits your waffle, for flavor in every bite) then it's covered with the Chef's homemade country gravy (NO Mix Here!).
Chef Cindy's made to order "signature desserts" are to die for ~ Crispy Dessert Nachos lavished in hot fudge and caramel ready to dip in vanilla ice cream. Our Turtle Smorsadillas are warm and soft- filled with chocolate, marsmellow, caramel and pecans, dusted with powdered sugar and cinnamon, drizzled with hot fudge and caramel and served with whipped cream for dipping. We also make variations, according to your palate - our smorsadilla can be made with Reese peanut butter or white chocolate. Ymmmm, can you think of anything better?
